RunLog

Privacy Policy

Your Data Stays on Your Device

RunLog reads workout data from Apple Health to provide training analytics. Your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

What We Read

RunLog requests read access to: workouts, heart rate, distance, routes, cardio fitness, resting heart rate, running speed, running power, and step count.

What We Write

RunLog writes to Apple Health only when you ask it to: a workout you log by hand, or a run you record in the app. Those workouts are saved with their workout time, distance, and route. RunLog asks for write permission the first time you use one of those features, never during setup, and it never modifies or deletes workouts recorded by another app or device.

No Accounts Required

RunLog does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-up, no email collection, and no personal information stored outside your device.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe to RunLog Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — no personal information is shared.

Analytics

RunLog does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data.

Crash Diagnostics

RunLog keeps crash diagnostics on your device. If you choose to review and share a report, it can include the crash time, app and build information, iOS version, device model, and technical details such as an error message, stack trace, or Apple MetricKit diagnostic payload. RunLog does not intentionally add workouts, routes, Health samples, notes, or photos to the report, but technical error text can contain context from the failure. Nothing is sent automatically: you review the complete report and choose its destination through the system share sheet.
